Revenue is not only a matter of invoicing clients but also ensuring that clients pay those invoices. Some companies struggle with this and spend a lot of time and effort managing payment reminders and tracking unpaid invoices. This is why debt recovery is crucial for many industries.

Recovr is an accounts receivable management tool that allows financial teams, invoice tracking teams, or simply managers to automate and improve their invoice-to-cash process. This means having a clear view of unpaid invoices and advanced automated client reminders. To access accounts receivable data and manage reminders, Recovr connects to accounting software, ERP software, and even email accounts through integrations.

Like most SaaS companies, Recovr’s team first built their own integrations for full control. But they quickly realised that in order to properly maintain integrations (API changes, API access, client issues, etc), they would need to take developper hours off of their core product.

Solution

Recovr is integrated with Chift's Unified Accounting API, providing a more streamlined and scalable approach

Following Recovr’s search for a scalable approach to integrations, they met with our team so we could help them scale their integrations faster. Using our Debt Recovery endpoint, Recover can access Chift’s Accounting API and get standardised data from various accounting platform like Horus, Exact Online, Winbooks, Sage BOB50, Pennylane, Cegid Loop, etc.

In a single API call, Recovr imports client information, open invoices, matches them to payments, and pulls PDF invoices. They can also filter data and, for example, import all open invoices from the last 14 days.

On the user side, Recovr’s clients can now seamlessly connect to their favorite accounting tools through Recovr’s interface, only leaving it for authentication.

Recovr can connect quickly to more accounting software through Chift's Unified API and can serve more customers

Outsourcing integrations to Chift enabled Recovr to concentrate on enhancing their core product, freeing them from the excessive time and resource demands of building and maintaining multiple integrations.

Thanks to the use of our Unified Accounting API, Recovr can ship new integrations faster to its customers. The need for separate integrations for each tool is eliminated. Imported data from all connected accounting tools follows a standard format.

Chift’s scalable solutions, which connect to most major ERP and accounting tools, allow Recovr to serve a broader range of customers more efficiently. As we regularly add accounting tools from different countries to our Accounting API, we will be there to support Recovr’s expansion across markets.
